Join The Pack!
Is Dog Daycare the Right
Fit for Your Dog?
To join the Fetching Place pack, all dogs must:
- Complete a Suitability Assessment with a Pack Manager
- Be spayed or neutered once of age
- Be up to date on core vaccinations
- Receive yearly Bordetella (kennel cough) vaccination
- Be on a parasite prevention program
- Attend daycare at least once per week
Proof of vaccination is required and assessments
are by appointment only.

Suitability Assessment
& Trial Visit Procedures
Because A Fetching Place is fully open-concept and kennel-free, every new dog must complete a Suitability Assessment and a 2-Hour Trial visit before joining the pack.
The Suitability Assessment is a 15–20 minute phone call where we learn about your dog’s history and discuss any special requirements. If everything looks like a good fit, we schedule the 2-Hour Trial visit.
During the Trial, a Pack Manager carefully introduces our in-house dogs one at a time, gradually building the pack around the new dog. Once introductions are complete and the dog appears comfortable, gates are opened so they can explore the full facility both indoors and outdoors.
This process is mandatory for all new dogs joining the Fetching Place pack.
Facility tours can be arranged at pickup following the Trial visit.
Weekly Attendance Requirement
We require regular weekly daycare attendance. Our open-concept environment works best when dogs attend consistently, allowing them to become familiar with the pack, staff, and routine.
For some dogs, it can take time to settle in and learn that A Fetching Place is a safe, fun place to play and relax. Regular visits help build confidence and ensure the best experience for everyone in the pack. 🐾

Safety First For All Dogs
The safety and wellbeing of all dogs and staff is our top priority. Management reserves the right to refuse admission or revoke daycare privileges for any dog displaying unsafe or inappropriate behavior.
Thank you for your understanding as we maintain a safe and happy environment for every member!
CURRENTLY ON A WAITLIST
The waitlist remains open, but we cannot guarantee accommodations for this upcoming season 2026.
We truly appreciate your patience and support, and we look forward to welcoming more dogs and their humans in the future!
